Hello RPGC members,
This notice is to remind you that the competition for the Captain's Trophy is scheduled to be played on Sunday 13th September. This year, your captain (Ronnie Paton) has decided that the competition should take the format of a five club challenge. Each entrant may decide exactly which 5 clubs to use but the inclusion of a putter is mandatory. Entrants may carry only the selected 5 clubs in their bags during the round. Anyone spotted carrying more than 5 clubs will be disqualified.
The competition will be a Stableford and will be a shotgun start. Entrants should meet in the House at 9.00am for tea or coffee and we will try to get started at 9.30am. I will circulate this notice to you again by email nearer the time and will ask you to let me know of your intention to enter so that starting tees and groupings can be organised. The trophy and prizes will be presented immediately after the rounds at a location within the House.
Before I do that, you will hear from me regarding the details of the Friendship Challenge on August 30th.
